As part of our 25th anniversary in 2010, WAC honored 25 emerging leaders (ages 40 and under) throughout Kentucky and S. Indiana who exhibited leadership, vision and interest in the area of international affairs. On December 9, 2010 WAC's Global Visionaries honorees took part in the Global Visionaries Summit, which included a chance to meet and reflect with top local leaders in the area of international affairs and business including former Kentucky Governor Martha Layne Collins. This unique opportunity was followed by a facilitated discussion in which the Global Visionaries produced findings relating to our international community which were presented to Mayor Greg Fischer.
