Global Nights: Spain - November 8

Join WAC on November 8th,
at 6:00 PM for a Celebration of Culture, Conversation & Cuisine at De la Torre's Restaurant (located at 1604-1606 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY). The event is free and open to public. Since this day is election day, the event will formally begin at 6:00 p.m. instead of our normal 5:30 p.m. Food and cash bar will be available at 6:00.

Global Nights events provide an opportunity to meet interesting speakers from the featured countries. WAC's November featured speaker is Susana Coto-Kerk.

About Susana:
           Susana Coto-Kerk was born in Singapore and relocated to Spain with her family at age 10. Her father’s family is of Spanish origin and they settled in his ancestral Basque region upon their return. Susana studied Tourism at Universidad Deusto, Geography and History at Universidad Autonoma and also attended SOAS, the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. While there, she obtained a Masters in Asian Pacific Studies with a concentration in the International Politics of Asia, China.

            In addition to living in Singapore, Spain and the UK, Susana lived in China for twelve years where she worked for the Embassy of Spain. She relocated to Louisville with her husband (a Kentucky native) and their daughter, Elisa. Susana currently works as an Account Manager in the International Team for Ceridian Stored Value Solutions, which is headquartered in Louisville.
