The World Affairs Council now has accounts with both Kroger Community Rewards and Amazon Smile, two programs that allow you to direct a small percentage of your purchases as a donation any time you shop.
Kroger Community Rewards is a program that allows consumers to give back to local schools, churches, and non-profits while they shop. To participate, sign up here on Kroger’s website using your Kroger Plus Card and either search our name or enter our identification number: 98018. Each purchase made with your Kroger Plus Card will then donate a small amount to the World Affairs Council of Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
Amazon Smile is a program in which .5% of the price of eligible purchases is donated by Amazon to a charity or nonprofit of your choice. To make purchases through Amazon Smile, simply visit smile.amazon.com in place of amazon.com. Your first visit will ask you to select an organization, so simply search for World Affairs Council of Kentucky and Southern Indiana. After that any qualifying purchase made on smile.amazon.com will result in a donation to us. The prices you pay are the same. The only difference is Amazon will now donate to your favorite organization.
