2024 Hershberg Scholarship Recipient: ABUBAKAR ABUBAKAR

We are happy to announce that Abubakar Abubakar is the recipient of the 2024 Hershberg Scholarship. He is a student at the University of Louisville and studies Biology and Psychology. His project will take him to Mombasa, Kenya this summer where he plans to enhance his proficiency in Swahili and Arabic while gaining extensive clinical experience. This opportunity will help support his aspiration of becoming a physician where he hopes to overcome healthcare disparities and delivering culturally sensitive care to underserved communities.
