Exchange Programs Internships
We are recruiting 2 Exchange Programs interns for the fall semester.
Time Commitment: 12–15 hours/week (flexible schedule; some in-person hours required at Louisville office)
Duration: 12 weeks
Compensation: $1,000 stipend for full 3-month commitment
The Exchange Program Internships offers the opportunity for students to work directly on U.S. Department of State–sponsored international exchange programs, connecting emerging global leaders with communities in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in program management, cross-cultural communication, event planning, proposal development, and public diplomacy—all within a fast-paced, mission-driven nonprofit environment.
By participating in our internship , you will:
Learn about citizen diplomacy and building cross-cultural relationships
Ability to get class credit
Practical experience creating public diplomacy connections
Shadowing and networking opportunities with experienced
Knowledgeable professionals
The opportunity to participate in networking events
An overall very flexible schedule for students
