Internship Programs
The World Affairs Council of Kentucky and Southern Indiana has an internship and a fellowship program, with the hope of getting students more involved with foreign affairs, international relations, citizen diplomacy, and encourage them to forever build cross-cultural connections.
Our goal is for students and young professionals to learn about these important topics through hands-on experience.
By participating in our Fellowship or Internship, you will:
Learn about citizen diplomacy and building cross-cultural relationships
Ability to get class credit
Practical experience creating public diplomacy connections
Shadowing and networking opportunities with experienced
Knowledgeable professionals
The opportunity to participate in networking events
An overall very flexible schedule for students
Here at the WAC, we are a small team. This gives our interns a unique opportunity to complete real work (not busy work), gain valuable experience, and have a true impact on our organization. We value insight from all levels of the organization. With young staff, we also provide an almost unparalleled opportunity for mentorship from people who truly understand the experience of college in today’s day and age.
