From the War Room to the Board Room: Navigating Global Markets through Innovation, Security, and Strategic Leadership

Join the World Affairs Council for our first Global After Hours, featuring Ayman Gomaa, President and CEO of Acacia Innovations Technology, in conversation with Omar Ayyash, President and CEO of World Trade Center Kentucky.

This fireside chat will explore the evolving intersection of global security, disruptive technology, and international commerce. As geopolitical dynamics shift and trade becomes increasingly digital, businesses in Kentucky and Southern Indiana must look beyond traditional export models to remain competitive.

Bringing together the tactical discipline of U.S. Special Operations and the strategic vision of international economic development, the conversation will examine the “Kentucky-to-Dubai” corridor and highlight how military-grade leadership and advanced information and communications technology (ICT) are becoming essential for securing supply chains and scaling businesses in today’s volatile global markets.

About the Speaker

Founded in 2017, Acacia Innovations Technology reflects Ayman Gomaa’s transition from a distinguished career in U.S. Army Special Operations to global entrepreneurship. Raised in Egypt and later becoming a decorated U.S. Special Operations soldier, Ayman retired from military service nine years ago and embarked on a new mission—launching a business with no safety net, no investors, and no guarantees. His goal was clear: apply the Special Operations mindset to business and tackle the complex challenges others avoid.

Ayman holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle Eastern Studies, a Master’s in International Management, and an MBA from the University of Maryland. Under his leadership, Acacia has established corporate offices in Dubai and Falls Church, Virginia, with operations spanning the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Southeast Asia.
