A Celebration of Diplomatic Accomplishments Throughout America's 250-year History
America's diplomats helped win the Revolution back in 1776 and played a key role in helping our country grow in both size and influence over the following 250 years.
This exhibit, created by the Association for Diplomatic Studies and Training, captures key moments when diplomats made the difference in America's fate, from protecting the young republic in its most vulnerable moments to helping our nation expand across the continent. It also explores how diplomats navigated two world wars and then built an international system that enabled the United States to win the Cold War and grow into the largest economy in the world.
Come learn how our diplomats have helped shape America's success and are confronting the challenges of the 21st Century!
